This salvage is up for sale at a local scrap yard. (1984 TT600)
Is there anything that is interchangeable with the 55W?

Easiest way is to browse through the part fiches for both bikes comparing, both are HERE in PDF`s.

I think the TT`s are 6v electrics

Thanks for that. Forgot about the TT section. Quickly looking they have the same carbs, so for a couple of hundred dollars worth it there alone....

The Motors are the same except the TT cylinder has a plated aluminum sleeve instead of the cast iron non plated .Yes 6V electrics but all XT parts bolt right on to make it 12v. The carbs are the same other than adjustable needle in the TT and richer jetting .

Rear suspension different , swingarm , linkeage , shock and doesn't fit on the XT . Front brake is drum so takes out the wheel and forks as spares for the 55w . Really besides the motor and carbs not a whole lot usable for spare parts , a few little parts here/there but if cheap enough the motor or carbs (if in decent shape) may be worth it . A XT600(43F, 3EW) would be a better option .
