OK, got all the replacement bits for the carbs.
I've split the bodied, cleaned them up & replaced everything but am stuck on the Air Cut Off Valve.
I got the cover off, removed large spring, diaphragm & removed screw.... how do you get the seating ring & pin out???
Do you just pull it out or is there something else holding it in??

The guide you sent me was very useful. Seeing the pics gave me the confidence to go ahead and use my vice grips to pull the Air Cut Off Valve straight out of its seat. I was in there good and tight.
It was the same with the Float Valve seat but all good now.
Strangely,, there is no large diaphragm on my slide valve,,,where it should be is a sealed unit that can't be opened!! Was there different set ups on different models??

The older secondary carbs had just a piston that's a close fit to the bore instead of the rubber diaphragm , they need to be real smooth and no corrosion for that slide to move freely. Not a great setup , slow to respond compared to the rubber boot version.
