Re: TT 350
Hi Fran. Yes I eventually got those Gold valve cartridge emulators put in and the back shocker serviced. She rides quite well.
I have Round 3, stage 6 as well
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHXb4oMu ... e=youtu.be
This stage,as you can see is through one of the creek beds in between Robertstown and Point Pass in South Australia. The fella that past us knew the stage off by heart. He said " oh i love this part cause i've done it before. You guys will love to"
Have you come across any 6V LED lighting for the TT's? I picked up some indicators as well as an LED tail globe from America. I haven't had the time to put them in as yet but when the old one's fail i'll replace them.

Howdy, just put this on. Last years round up at Clare Sth Aust. Round 7, stage 4 I believe. I just could not get it right on this day. Had a bad fall two weeks before at the River land Trials where I bruised or cracked one or some ribs and found it hard to ride
The track in places were very slippery and some of the red arrows were a bit hard to see with the tall grass.

Re: TT 350
Howd'y,
I was thinking about purchasing a WR-250F around the 2007-10 model to become a better rider for the S.A. Trials.
Comparing my 1991 TT-350 to the WR. Lots of advantages for having a WR, Elecrtic start, 112kg's, 12Volt system, better suspension and maybe better brakes.
Now the cost is beyond what I can afford so its back to the TT.
Would anyone know how I could lighten the bikes weight some how???
The bike is standard except for the suspension, I've had those Gold valve emulators put in on the front forks which has made a huge improvement and the back shocker recon'd.
Just a few thoughts on improving the bike so far. Braided hose for the front brake. Looking at changing the standard muffler to either a RMZ-250, 2010 model or a YZ-250 muffler which would lighten the bikes weight a
bit.

Re: TT 350
I've got a WR250F front end I was going to put on mine, but for my riding, Emulators/Intiminators were better value for money.
Isn't stock weight for the TT around 115kg?
A guy in the states put the brake caliper mount and wheel etc from a DRZ400 into an XT350 swingarm.

Re: TT 350
Hey Fran
how's it going????
DRZ back end?? mmmm
I read some where that the TT weight is 130kg dry????
I shall find the link to show you and we can go from there.
I think swapping the front end in my case would be the very last thing on my list and i'd have too have a shit load of money spare. ( as if that's gonna happen)
The WR muffler is there any pic's and what year is it please....

Is yours 12Volt???? and if so did you get done or purchase a second hand one from a later year model???

Re: TT 350
123Kg wet according to the manual.
Mine has a 6v AC 35w headlight
Weirdly, I don't have any pics of the WR250 muffler. It looks like a mini DR650 stock pipe.
It's been on since August 2012.
It's a stainless one, quite heavy, but quiet and indestructible.

Re: TT 350
Thanks Fran
Ok, this site says 120kg's 1997
http://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/model/ ... 0%2097.htm
And this site says 130kg's 1991
http://www.bikez.com/motorcycles/yamaha_tt_350_1991.php
And the 1986 was 226 pounds not sure what that would be in kg's????
There's a few mufflers on Ebay for YZF. Have not look at WR's yet..
