No matter what I did, it wasnt for me. I think I tried to hard mind, but I have broke even. I am however pleased to say that my Tenere sold and I thank you for the help and patience, pity I couldnt get on with it, but thanks again guys, I shall annoy no more

By new age, do you mean the plastic fantanstic.
Get yourself a classic Tenere man, 3AJ/1VJ if you must have a starter or the original & the best of the lot the 34L.
You will get heaps more street cred & looks on a on school classic Tenere than the modern effort.
If i was you in the UK id go find a nice clean Africa Twin, id love one myself.

. Had a test ride yesterday and very impressed, so impressed I put my money down on a stonking deal. It took the bits I did like from my 4MY and put them at a much higher level... which i personally wanted.I would love to be able to be one of these people who could have an old bike and lovingly restore.... they do come up here but not very often now hey... and I think I will leave it to looking lovingly at them at meets or shows... or just what people have posted via forums
Funny always wanted an Africa Twin and being an XRV supporter for a few years now also love them to bits, but I have always believed they are overpriced a really decent one not being so far away from what I have just given for this new Tenere, and the parts are therefore also hard to get for a decent price
