The idle speed is slow to drop after giving the engine a rev, and as the engine gets warmer, the idle speed goes up......So I can happily set a speed of 1500rpm, and then as the engine gets warmer still it'll go up to over 2000rpm
Whilst messing around in the yard trying to set an idle speed, I notice intermittent wafts of smoke from god knows where under the tank
The bike is a 2003 XT600e but is mint and only has 3k miles, although a previous owner deid hack his way into the carb to fit a dynojet kit and K&N filter.....
As my Blade is still totally in bits, it would be really nice if the XT were to behave for a while.........
