Plastic tank, made by Acerbis - Italy, 23 litres, for Yamaha XT600 modelul 2KF/2NF (1988-1990). From what i`ve read on the internet, but i cannot guarantee this, it can also be adapted to XT600 3TB (1990-2002). 80 Euros or the equivalent in other currencies.

You take the saddle off. Then the gas tank from the frame and the fairing.
Three of the fairing`s screws are easy to be unscrewed - the 2 ones at the bottom + the one on the right upper side.
For the one on the upper left side - easiest way is to (half) take off the choke cable.

- The Hepco & Becker crashbars. Too close to the back brake liquid reservoir, exhaust manifold cover and outside of the tank - not so strong crashes will push the crashbars against these 3 parts of the bike and always bend them. Also ...
