Wow! That is around three Times more than what i paid from China. It was 40 eur with postage. I complained ...

I ended Up with standard washer while i am waiting for a correct One to arrive.

Now the trip is over. I survived

I was thinking in terms of thickness and outer diameter. The partnumbers differ from left and right washer so I guess it is kinda important that the dimensions are somewhat near spec.

Bike is an xtz 660 from 1997.

Now it is installed.

What I did was:
Cut the cables to appropriate length (used oem one for reference)

Used molex extractor in order to re use old plug for hall-sensor (plug with two connectors).

Crimped new terminal crimps to wires (6,3 mm 2,5 mm dia and 2,8 mm 1,5 mm dia crimps are used ...

Well... it is an adventure bike after all

Besides there are no new stators to buy afaik.

Would it be a good or bad idea to clear coat the stator with 2pac? (In order to make it more durable.)

Well. Work is in progress now. But I need to order molex terminal crimps.

I did drop the seller a mail mentioning that the harness needs modification in order to work on my bike. Even if the price is low they should not say that it fits a xtz660 when it actually doesn't.

I've found a good picture of anpther carb and what it looks like; it should be a washer on the axle.
