Re: 34L Side Stand Photo Please
Yep, looks like I'm missing a big chunk where the side stand bolts onto.
So what do I do? Can you buy that bottom part or is it welded to the frame?

34L Side Stand Photo Please
Hi all....
I bought a 34L but it has no side stand. I've since bought a well used side stand off eBay. Matching it up to the bike, there's no way it looks like it would fit. I suspest the previous owner broke the original one off and tried to weld something in place - perhaps even trying to mate up ...

Nah.... 4300k is what you want. Closest in colour to halogen. Although the pink might match the bike!

This is what I'm thinking for the 34L

OK cheers. Looks like I might be best to stick with what is there and just rebuild it. Might as well replace the hoses with something braided while I'm at it

So anyone done it yet? I'm thinking a 35w HID kit on the 34L to save a bit of juice......

34L Brake Caliper - better out there? Twins?
Hi guys,
Starting my 34L rebuild soon and I'm going to start with the front end. I was thinking about replacing the complete front end but I might just stick with the original and put new Wilbers springs in the shocks.
First up..... The front brake caliper. From what I know it's a single piston ...

Re: 34L Replacement Forks
That does look nice. Any particular model bike to go for? Is it a straight fit or much machining to be done?
Thanks....
Thanks....

34L Replacement Forks
Just a question I wanted to throw out there.
I'm thinking along the lines of changing the forks on my 34L. My main thinking is that technology has come a long way in almost 30 years and that the bike might benefit from modern forks and perhaps a twin brake disc setup. (I know you could use the 30 ...
