Re: Bike is hesitating at wide open throttle
New air filter cured these symptoms on my bike. I need a new one every 3-4 months cus of the vast amounts of dust in portugal.

Are these studs easy to remove?
I was just thinking of putting on two nuts and undoing the lower nut to remove or maybe using a pair of mole grips to twist them out. Is it this easy ...

Re: My XT600E 3TB 1994
I got mine from EBay too. It was indeed too wide, however all it needed was a longer bolt and an extra nut to act as a spacer. Don´t even notice if the nut is placed next to frame.

Re: ´99 XT 600E
Apologies
I have linked it instead and also resized.
I would use photobucket, but the photos tend to get deleted after a while so I prefer my own fileserver.

´99 XT 600E
Hey Guys
Had my XT about 6 months now. I found after a little research that my British License allows me to drive anything I want in Portugal so :D
Cost me 650euros, not bad tbh. Has a bit of a tick on engine and 35k,000km´s on the clock, goes well and gets about 50mpg. The tick is nothing ...

Re: My XT600E 3TB 1994
I found the opposite that racks are harder to get for ´95-.
The main yamaha dealer in fact said one was never made.
However, a pre-95 racks fits just fine it seems as it is what I fitted to my ´99
