I shifted this post to the flea market hope you don't mind Evans.
That`s a 3AJ goldmine of stuff.
What make is that pipe you have there?
Mezo.

Sorry ActionManMelb, Evans is local to me (the other side of Auckland) so I've grabbed his bits before he leaves our shores. (Spain's lucky to be getting such a nice guy)My plan is to make moulds of the panels and fairing so I can make my own as Evans has done. ( I'll need help from a mate who has experiance with composites...) Eventuily the parts will be available again for anyone restoring their 3AJ. I don't expect my bike to ever be a pristine, restored prize. Just a well cared for, well used beast. So fibreglass is more repairable for my purpose.
Watch this space.
Oh and Mezo, The pipe was a Micron (can) so I hope it will fill the gap if my original system is not usable. Quite open so I assume it will be loud. Forgot to ask Evans. (too keen to skuttle away with my bootie)

Probably less than the tank is actually worth,

so I am duty bound to pass them on to a forum member at a simular bargin price once I have practised strange acts with them. ( Thats making moulds of the parts, for you more deviant members) It won't happen overnight, but it will happen....
