I have taken the carbs apart for cleaning on my 2003 xt600e (YDLS twin carb set up) and managed to loose the drain screw. Having searched the workshop i then tried the web for a replacement. I have had no luck. Does anyone know where i can get one? uk based.

Yeah fowlersparts. And if they can get them they are also in any Yamaha dealer. Luckily it’s one of the parts still available. Most carb parts are.
Might not be in stock so it’ll take a few days if it’s in Europe, or a week or so from Japan.

It’s item 21, although the website seems a little weird. Calls it an airscrew.
On the 1vj parts list, which should be the same for most of the carb, it’s also item 21, called plug screw, 5y1-14115-00.
In fact, even with the number , it’s not listing my bike on the website.
Go straight to the Yamaha dealer. Fowlersparts is getting difficult.
