i totally blame mez for this bike, we were just going to "look" at a tenere that mez had heard about sitting in a shed
anyway mez purchased the bike and i happened to notice the transalp sitting in the shed all covered in dust and now looking very lonely so i had to give it a new home
just rolled out of the shed

transalp and tenere no.4 mez?, loaded in the back of the love bus

havn't managed to spend much time with the alp yet, got a new battery for it and bugger me all the electrics work
so next step checked all the fluids, drained the fuel tank put in some fresh gogo juice hit the starter with the plugs out got spark and oil pressure
plugs look good, whacked them back in and hit the starter no go
so removed air filter got a can of start ya bastard............... and she starts on the gas but won't run on fuel
next up will be to pull the carbs and inspect

Does look nice eh, you think the swingarm, rims & bashplate are powdercoated? and that fairing would have been a custom paintjob for sure.

Nice Transalp Danny.... I had one years ago, I did a track day on mine at Croft, in the rain.... must of been 1998..... I lapped everyone on their GSXR's, 916's,Fireblade's, etc.... & a month later read about myself in Northern Biker magazine..... see if I can find it....
