Different Exhaust.?

Post by Bronco »

Hi
New to the forum
Picked up a really rough 1VJ that has been street trackered.
I want to improve it so at least it looks the part.
Wondering if TDM headers will fit to make an underslung exhaust.?
Regards David.

Apologies to the purists, but it’s way to far gone to restore .

very much doubt they would be anywhere near, the TDM as you probably know is a twin, if by underslung you mean under the motor maybe the SRX would be a better choice, the SZR and (MZ scorpion I believe) used the later 5 valve motor where the headers differ, you could try Kedo, they do a lot of street/bobber(personally hate both terms) stuff.
:welcome2:

A bit dear, but you get the idea (for stock, doubt you would find better)

Thanks for the tip.
I see the XT660R might be closer to what I'm after.
Any good leads on these?
