Hey Guys

Had my XT about 6 months now. I found after a little research that my British License allows me to drive anything I want in Portugal so :D

Cost me 650euros, not bad tbh. Has a bit of a tick on engine and 35k,000km´s on the clock, goes well and gets about 50mpg. The tick is nothing uncommon from what I have read, and since it hasn´t got any worse in the 3000km that I have done, i´m not concerned.

I have been using it for daily commute and for ´greenlaning´ in the portuguese countryside. Hundreds of km´s of hilly, baron land round here :)

Has needed a few bits and pieces. Since I had it I´ve done

- New clutch cable (snapped when out riding)
- New spark plug
- Adjusted tappets
- New sunstar sprockets and DID VX2 x-ring chain (needed)
- New Semi-offroad tyres (Needed)
- New pads front and back
- New Front and rear wheel bearings + sprocket bearing (front bearing only was needed, rest I did cus might as well)
- New headset
- New gear shift seal (found a bodge with some sort of sealant when doing sprockets)
- New countershaft seal
- New Fork seals + oil
- New chain tensioners (missing)
- New oil and air filters + oil change
- Rear rack
- New rear lights (broken)

Could do with:
- Unbodging indicator relay wiring.
- Possibly a new clutch... not sure.

Here it is (most recent photo I have, bout 5 months ago):

Welcome Scott,

You may want to resize your pics before uploading them, or you may get the wrath of "old man Dave"

Ha, ha.... I had my finger on the trigger. whip

As the pic comes I can only see a part of the front wheel.

"Right click", "View image" brings lovely bike and rider into view.

Sod it, im going to nuke it

Your picture host servers are pretty slow, so id suggest either going with Photobucket or resizing your pictures to accommodate your host slow servers. :thumb:

Resize the pic to say 800 x **** which is big enough for any screen.

Mezo.

Apologies

I have linked it instead and also resized.

I would use photobucket, but the photos tend to get deleted after a while so I prefer my own fileserver.
