Ok lads, I have a need for some parts. All discontinued by Yamaha Japan.

CMSNL was always a good source, however they have also run out of these parts as far as I can tell.

For the 34L 1983 model XT600 Tenere (is there another )

- I need an original bashplate
- hand guards (or if another model's guards fit, which ones) I love the ones with Yamaha written on them.

All I can think of for now. Will see how things progress.

Unfortunately I have more than 10 thumbs and will rely on the help of friends quite heavily. Then the damn budget is quite limiting too.

Any help and advise will sorely appreciated.

Mezo, Karl sent me the link from the Club Italian Tenere site. Karl does not know who the guy is with the 34L. But was blown away by the quality of rebuild. The blue one is a mate of Karls in Brenos Aries.

Karl is restoring a white 34L that has had a hard life. If was worn out in Alaska and ridden to the bottom of South America and sold to Karl in BA.

Big ed. After reading some of the Swiss and Italian Tenere sites. Seems we need a German or Italian parts list as they have different part numbers and have stock of NOS on parts we just cannot get any where else.
