Welcome to the forum Archie.
Are you sure you want to restore it?

Thanks for the Welcomes guys. started the strip down today. Being very careful not to break any bolts that are attached to the frame. Been using loads of wd and a bit of heat and it seems to be working a treat. The frame itself is very good even all the little tabs for the loom are still good. Ordered a new lock set and ignition barrel from ebay today. The previous owner had long since lost the keys. Gonna get the engine cranking and do a compression test before I remove it. Been doing the fork seals and a ss ehaust conversion on my storm so once I get that off my lift I will get properly in about the strip down
And heres a couple of pics of my main bike and one I will never sell

Not updated for a bit. Have been searching for parts but no joy. Have decided to turn this into a street tracker. Plan is 750 front end shorten the forks and new tank tail custom exhaust and so on. Have had it hooked up to a battery all the electrics are good and had engine cranking and compression is good. Away working at the moment but should have some new parts when I get back home to make a start. If anyone could link me some tenere tracker threads that would be great
