Hello Everyone, The front brakes on the xt I recently purchased work way to well, I would like the front wheel not to lock up so Quickly. This is for the wife , not an overly experienced rider. Should I bleed off a little fluid, maybe different brake pads, or just swap her brake system with my xt. regards Mike

Most guys would love to have sharp brakes like that, one of the biggest gripes is how shit the front brake is Mike.
Don`t go bleeding the brakes just try a softer set of pads or try adjusting it at the lever so she can get her hand to fit over the lever more comfortable (more play) or slacken it off a bit is what im trying to say.
Mezo.

Thanks for the reply Mezo, I remember on dirt bikes we would adjust the front brake drum so they wouldn't lock up . Her brake system on the xt must of been gone through by the dealer, because they slam the brakes tight with very little pressure on the brake lever. regards mike
