Anyone have a spare that's wants to swop for beer tokens?
Any leads would also be helpful.
Cheers

I just bought one for my 84 XT and had to go to Germany eBay to get it. I got assistance from one of the forums to find it. Works great. When they do show up in the US they want silly money for it....

Yes, thanks Steve, I'm guessing Ebay.de will probably be my best bet, I was just wondering if someone was sat on a pile of casings and wanted to exchange one for cash.

I've managed to obtain a rough alley one, but still looking for a magnesium.
I'm just wondering what will happen when all esentail parts like casings disappear? Will we be breaking our pride and joys?

Thanks Steve, not quite the right part, looks very similar though. I think I'm after a 2KF 2NF 1VJ 43F 34L TT model casing.

Hi Andy,
did you have a look at this thread?

http://www.tenere.co.uk/forum/viewtopic ... &start=260

Karl did put a "newer model"- sidecase on his old kickerbike (34L)
He discribes it very well.
I have my own 3TB cover allready in my shed. I want to do the swap some day....
Good luck!
Olli

Hi olli, thanks, I'll add it to my search. I also managed to rip 2 teeth off the idler gear and knarl up the a kick start gear tooth, but i,'m still happy, just something I need to do, I am an impatient twat most of the time. :banghead:

Edit; managed to get a nice 3TB casing from eBay. De awaiting delivery to get going again.
