I got my first 1VJ in 1987 and have owned at least one since. However I'm working in Portugal and my Teneres are in a container in NZ. I needed something to get around on here
and bought a TT600re in England and rode it over. Then, as you do changed it to suit, Acerbis tank and bark guards, H4 headlight and different front guard.
It ended up looking good. On u tube there is one with kick and electric start which makes it very like a modern equivalent if an 1VJ.
