I've decided to sell the 3YF that's taken me the best part of a year to put back on the road. (Doghouse's 3YF pup thread)
I bought this for something to do over the winter and most of the excess time it's taken was due to sourcing some of the missing parts.
As per my rebuild thread it was never supposed to be a restoration, just an effort to get a dead bike back on the road.
It stands me over a grand which I don't expect to get back but would like to get a close to that as possible.
I'll offer to you good people in the know for a couple of weeks then if it doesn't sell I'll put it up on fleabay.

I have replaced:
complete rear wheel (2nd hand)
rear disc (2nd hand)
cush drive rubbers (new)
Chain (new)
Sprocket (new)
Fairing parts (some new some 2nd hand)
Carb (2nd hand)
battery (new)
Carb inlet rubbers (new)
Headstock bearings (new taper rollers)
Grips (new)
indicators (2nd hand)
mudguard stay (2nd hand)
Engine cover (2nd hand)
water pump (2nd hand)
fork gaitors (new)
exhaust (2nd hand)
chain guide (new)
Rear rack (2nd hand)
On top of that - lots of small bits like new seals, swing arm bits, bolts and bearings etc.
I've also set the tappets, new oil and filter, new coolant, stripped and cleaned the brakes - all the stuff it needed really.
Its MOT'd until July 14 and taxed to Feb 14.
It rides fine and goes well.
Everything works as it should.
Mileage is shown as 55800 but the bike was imported from europe and the kmh clocks replaced by the second hand mph ones @65000 kilometres by the previous keeper.
It is far from perfect with odd bits of corrosion here and there and some cracks on the fairing but it's a good honest bike for a twenty year old machine.
PM if interested.
