Due to a change in circumstances I am no longer continuing with the resurrection of my '83 Tenere.

Following is a list of what there is and what $ I would like, but don't be shy to PM an offer!

Newly built front wheel new tyre, tube rim tape, HD SS spokes, Exceed silver rim, professionally painted hub, new bearings laced by Spoke Wheel Repair Peakhurst in Sydney. Due for completion 7th of June. Cost $970 Asking $650.
Pattern speedo/tacho assy. Cost $114 Asking $75

Custom made Hel braided brake line in white. Cost $70 Asking $50

Everything has been sold Guys.

I'll lurk around still, and maybe one day when the Mining Industry recovers I'll end up with a Tenere............ :wave:

Sorry that you ended up in this position ( may well do so myself soon if I don't manage to get a job, been 14 months now, I'm only doing things that involve effort rather than paying out to keep some sorta grip on normality.)

Well I hope someone takes some Action and restores the old girl, nice bit of Tenere history there :shades:

I reckon Eric. I had tried to find out if the bike was number 3 off the line for Australia, or number 103! Even my very helpful Yamaha dealer wasn't sure...........mind you, the bike was older than nearly all the staff there :lol:

All the documented service & repair history is interesting too, even the Northern Territory rego papers that say it was sold in 1987 to a South Australian bloke. smile:
