So did have a ~150 km ride today, Highway, twisty tarmac roads, gravel roads, even a bit off road!
Had older son at the back!
Eventually did a wrong turn and got to a dead end....

The bike runs stronger now I think than yesterday, new rings begin to break in?

Been a bit busy, and the Tenere is at winter sleep... but did check the oil level before that (putting it to winter sleep) and it has use quit a bit of oil during the ~400km I had time to put on it (partly becorse I could not ride any mike for more that a month after a hard MTB crach...now know how it feels to crack a bicycle helmet!). I assume part of it becorse the new piston rings, as the engine felt far more stronger at the last ride that the first ride! Have to see how it continue, and sure have to check it more often! No signs of leaks, and do not smoke any as now, did tiny as cold the first rides...

Ok.
I was lost at some point and had my bikes up for sale (KTM Adventure fever, strange disease!), but as there was not much interest (well for the bike in parts there was if they got it for a few hundred
) so back to keep the bikes, and actually do what should been done in first place, match the frame and engine numbers again, as I now got the other bikes engine in current frame.
I also like to make the bike that sits in parts a runner, already have a few bits missing on the way, thanks ebay, my wallet suffers...
Also like to paint it to something other than the ugly gray army camouflage...Geoff, I like your White whit Blue seat/stickers
But perhaps whit blue frame still and this sticker type:
But first I have to get my wrist in shape after my surgery a month back.
