Thanks, you are setting the level for me here, what I can or can´t do. smile:

The electrolysis info you gave me creates more questions though. I read some pages very
quick and it said "don´t involve steel springs and hardened steel in this process". Isn´t most
of the engine parts made of hardened steel?

I have put some oil on the rusty things for now and they are inhouse in dry environment.
Will try a wire brush on them further on for a starter.

The center camshaft holder on one set is very abused so thats the one that was in the accident.
That I think is in a none rescue shape when I know it´s important this area is smooth as a baby´s face.

I have started to take inventory of this engine and pull it apart. Guess what, there are important parts missing. :banghead:
I was promised a broken but complete engine. How come everything must be checked and you can´t rely on what
people says anymore?
One of the missing parts is the oilpump, could have been nice for a upgrade to one of the TT Engines. Don´t really know how
it looks but according to the parts catalog bad Pictures I can´t find anything that look like it.
Current in the stable: 2x34L, 36A, 2KF, Raptor 350, R6, R1, XJ900S, MT07 Tracer

Regarding same as XT, you tell me. I have almost none experience with Engines of any type or how to work with em.
