Front brake problem

Thanks but I have the bits to make one up now, just waiting to hear how many beer tokens the TIG expert wants to glue them together.

Can anyone tell me if there is any way to get rid of all the smilies down the side of the 'post reply' page? I have tried disabling smilies but they won't go away. I just find it a bit irritating having to scroll down so far if I want to refer to a previous post or something.

Thanks very much for the offers, it's the mid-pipes for the exhaust I am having trouble finding at the moment as it would appear that the ones mentioned in the links in Mezo's previous post are not available yet, I'm currently looking at making one up out of pre-bent sections of pipe.
Could you send the mudguard if I pay for post and packing etc.?

If your front brake is still a bit spongey then it's likely the brake line is stuffed. I rebuilt my master cylinder and caliper and it was still a soft lever so I eventually put a new (braided) line on and now it's better than new. I very firm lever with a brake that has never worked better.

Old hydraulic lines are renown for going soft with age, much like me !
