He sent it and I fitted it, Got a spark now but it seems to be a non stop hail of sparks, I thought there should be one every turn of the crank

One spark per crank rotation would be correct, yes.

When I can i will get oil and a filter and put some petrol in it and it should go.

It’s running now, engine seems goood, now to repaint and find a headlight bulb holder

I am still having problems with my Tenere, it starts and runs fine, but wont rev. Past 2000 rpm, it just pops and bangs and 8 strokes, if you read my ealy posts i got a new BrightSpark CDI unit, and had the charging side of the ststor rewound, source coils were with in spec,

Is it possible i have the source coils wired around the wrong way? So its retards the ignition?
