Re: rebuilding a 55W in Buenos Aires
Now the black painted small parts. Most where powder coated.Except the kick and the upper triple clamp that was painted with Krylon satin paint.
I choosed polyester powder coating as it has good UV filters.

The food pegs where modified by me adding an inch in the length and with.I also created those tooth for better gripp. Then also powdercoated in satin black.

Now I am having problems with my camera battery charger!!!!!
So today I installed the lock with the new key!As We are working on the frame will do some pictures ASAP.
Thats all untill today.I choosed this point in uploading pictures because its getting some momentum.Things are getting faster, spares are arriving soon.
Hopefully by mid august the pig will be running again.

Great work Karl. Why can't every garage have one of those old guys. Who knows every thing and how to fix it.Dirtybrit wrote:Great job Karl, your old buddy did a good job with the tank!

Hallo Karl,
I saw a post from you in XT-foren.de.
Great rebuild you are doing here.
Your footpegs are from a TT!?
Or is this spezial on brasilian models?
Even the brakepedal is TT.
Viele Grüße
Fred
