Hi Jokkis
Have a look at this diagram

It's bottom of the page HERE if you can't see it to well.
It shows how your CDI works, the charge coil charges the capacitor inside the CDI box then the pulse from the trigger coil releases the charge to the ignition coil.
I think you are getting a low reading from the orange wire because the voltage release happens so quickly, I think you need a "peak hold" multimeter or osilla scope to measure it accuratly
Can you borrow an igition coil from a friend to try on your bike?

Im not fully sure are you trying to say that the cdi is working properly, but the trigger coil is faulty or charge coil?
Can someone measure own 1vj what kind of voltage it gives from orange wire, because i have tested my cdi in other bike an it runs :) thank god
I havent open my stator cover yet Steve, but i try to do that today and i can send the picture!

Hello!
Here is pictures from stator! Im not sure but it looks pretty clean. No bad wires. At service manual it gives source coil resistance between 160-240 ohm and now it only resists 138 ohms, so could that make any diffrence?

Re: 1VJ passed out?!
I was trying to say it is difficult to measure the out put from the orange wire because it releases its' power in a fraction of a second, this is your spark timing.
A normal volt meter, and probably your eyes, can't react quickly enough to read the individual power spikes.
With a TCI ignition or contact breakers you have a constant power sauce, 12 volts, that charges the ignition coil then the TCI box or contact breaker tell the ignition coil when to release the power, spark.
With CDI it's the capacitor in the CDI box that is constantly getting charged and the trigger tells the capacitor when to release its' power, the ignition coil is used to amplify the power.
I didn't know the resistance values for your bike and thought as you were getting a voltage reading from the orange wire it could be your ignition coil, between the CDI box and spark plug, has broken.
Looking at your pics
the dark colour on your CDI charging coil(s) can be an indication of a burnt coil, it might be just a different coating to the battery charging coils, I don't know
BUT all three white wires should have the same resistance between them so you might need a new or rewound stator to charge your battery anyway.
As Steve said the battery charging system and ignition charging system work independent of each other, but they are both built in to the same stator plate, if you buy a new battery charging stator you automaticaly get an ignition stator with it.
Triple check the solder joints and the resistance before you buy anything

Re: 1VJ passed out?!
The manual I downloaded says the CDI source coil resistance is 112 to 132 ohms, your measurement is very close. I agree the coils do look a little dark, but it may be normal since the ohms reading is close. Where did you get the values you indicated? Did you measure the coil resistance values? Like the previous post says, it is hard to measure the pulse going to the coil as it is a very sharp quick pulse to fire the coil. Only a peak reading meter or an oscilloscope can measure the actual output. Since you tried your CDI on another bike, see if you can borrow the coil and fit it to your bike. This is going to be a process of elimination. If the other bike you tested is identical, maybe you could borrow the stator too? Lots to ask but it may take to get to the bottom of the problem. Right now, I suspect the coil, but measure it and maybe measure the loaner too.
Let me know.
Let me know.

Those two odd coloured coils are normal, this is from Karl`s thread on stators.

Re: 1VJ passed out?!
Thank you Mezo. I think he can eliminate the stator as a problem and his CDI as it worked on another, really pointing to a coil problem.

Re: 1VJ passed out?!
Hello everyone!
I got problem solved today!
Problem was at the a stator coils what gives power to cdi! that 138 was probaly too low ohms?!
Thanks to everyone who was giving help!
-Joni
ps. my friend have bought same bike 1vj!!

Was it a broken wire or bad coil, don't leave us hanging like this.....
