Hey Gents.
Thanks for the heads up. I saw the message at The Hubb and answered there.

The bike has reached 120.000km. Could be fun to do a compression test. I might just rebuild this ol' trusty bike this year, but who knows?

Have been away for way too long.
As seen elsewhere, I sumoed my bike recently:

Love the ongoing mods - still have a soft spot for my old 600e. The Acerbis tank and 17" wheels make quite a smart combination there.

Hi, thanks for the comment.
I quite like it myself. I commute just over 500km each week, so the big tank is much appreciated.
The sumo wheels is now waiting for spring, and I've mounted knobbies instead.

So, bike is using oil... Im spoiling it with a new piston + 0.25mm (actually 1.25mm compared to stock)
The endgap of one of the pistonrings was beyoud 1,10mm. The other was fine, thats weird.
Im pretty sure the cylinder was bored with too large tolerences when I last overhauled it, as the same happened to a friend of mine, who used the same shop.
