Hey Ffoxy, not a real lot of skill needed basically pull apart replace or renew and put back together. Patience comes naturally as you have to wait so long to receive parts, so no need to rush things. By the way does anyone have a flasher relay bracket, the one that bolts on the lower triple clamp (Tenere 83-85)?

Finally my new Lampenmasken (headlight & cowl for those that don't speak German) arrived, only took 27 days!!! Also put the All Balls swingarm kit in. Started to sort the electric's out as well,cleaning and retaping.

Still waiting on the left seitendeckel to arrive, even hooked on the OeTTINGER Pils 500ml cans bargain at $40 a box! :guinness:

Then theres the Auspuff (exhaust). Anyway just got an email from CMSNL that the throttle-switch gear I ordered 21 days ago is not available! That's twice I've ordered stuff from them and waited and waited only to find out they can't get it!!! :bullshit: Not happy :storm:

Needs a paint job but in very good condition. Does anyone know the genuine colour for the Tenere as it seems to be a slightly creamy white rather then a bright white going off the new panels I have. Also pulled apart my throttle switch gear which I thought was stuffed to find it was OK, already etch primed it!

The match paint is the factory "white rally"........ :birdgrin: no longer available
So what we did with our painter is check on those machine mixing catalogs to find the nearest matching white.Take the Frontmaske with you and the Seitendeckel to the Farbenfritze!
Maybe you get some Glück and finish the Arbeit as erwartet!
