222 loctite is the weakest of the thread lockers and perfect for the XT/XTZ, it is a liquid that hardens when in contact with a metal or when oxygen is no longer present. Thanks for the reply, Is the 222 the soft loctite? hard to remember which one to use, how did you put flats on your mirrors? would like to be able to remove the ball in case
i break a lever housing.

I filed two flats on the adaptor to suit a 12mm spanner..
