From Fowlers eBay listing query:
“We do not offer shipment to Australia, sorry. Please note that this is a non-stocked part and would first have needed to be backordered from the manufacturer.”.
Bummer! On to “plan N” it is then...

Yes, my thoughts too. It's like when you buy something that's listed as 100km away, takes a month to arrive only for you to realise it is some cheeky bugger doing drop-shipping from China. Ah well.

I have had luck with EU members on this forum buying parts for me (USA) and shipping them to me overseas because ebay or fowlers or whoever did not ship. Worth an ask.
I just recently got a shipment from Fowlers UK so I'm pretty sure they will send packages to the States again. If no one else in the EU chips in then I would act as an intermediary to ship to Australia if you’re okay with the extra shipping costs. Just saying

I had a similiar problem(Also didn't have too much funds to buy all new OEM bushings), but after doing some research and especially reading Donnybach's post I decided not to go all in on bushings. Instead I opted for buying a used linkage (20EUR locally) and changed bushings/bolts that were in better condition and also got a grease gun. It still has some play, but is miles better after being properly greased.
Also now have spare linkage bolts which I have heard can break down in harsh conditions (according to one guy from youtube

)

Hi mate, thanks for those pointers.
CMSNL have a part listed (
https://www.cmsnl.com/products/bush-1_11df212300/) but it is flagged as "not available".
Fowlers have a listing in the parts schematic, but it is flagged as "Not in stock". I have contacted them to see if they are able to get stock.
All of the local (Australian) places I've tried ordering through have not been able to get their hands on the parts. They are ordering direct from Yamaha Japan, who's response is "Sorry, NLA". So, unless I can find a shop that has some on the shelves (highly unlikely), I'll keep trawling the internet. If I have any success I'll post an update!
Cheers

That's a very kind offer, thanks all the same! Go parts EU haven't responded to any of the email enquiries I've sent, so I'll give them a miss. I'm currently ~$500 out of pocket waiting for refunds from previously failed orders from other stores so don't want to aimlessly order anything as yet.
I came across a Piaggio part that looks like it's the right dimensions, just waiting on the seller to confirm these as I can't cross reference the part number to sizes anywhere (part number doesn't come up in Piaggio parts listings). Piaggio is a very uncommon brand here in Australia, so it's hard to get information or parts locally.

OK all, we might have some progress on this issue. Bare with me please - I'll put in plenty of info here for the future reference of the next poor sod that goes looking for these parts.
I have not been able to find any "exact" genuine or non-genuine part specifically listed as being for the Tenere (2008 - 2016). I had resigned to the fact that I need to wait for a used/wrecked swingarm to pop up for sale, or to have these tubes custom made for me. The measurements I was able to get from my crusty parts was 16mm ID / 22mm OD / 76mm long. I don't know the accuracy of the length though, as the ends had a bit of material taken off them when I cut the swingarm out - without this measurement I can't get parts made.
I've been in touch with two retailers that have been kind enough to measure up some tubes/bushes from kits they have on hand, as well as cross referencing genuine parts within their own catalogues.
A big thumbs up to John N. at YamBits (
http://www.yambits.co.uk/) and Matthew C. at Whites Powersports (
https://www.whitesmoto.com.au/) - both have been very helpful!
YamBits found a swingarm repair kit for a 1990-2002 XT600E (PN: SAK005), which from their records indicate that the "SAK005" kit will also fit the later Tenere (this is despite the OEM and non-genuine part numbers all being very different). John measured the tubes up as 16.15mm ID / 22mm OD / 75mm long. The actual width of the swingarm housing that these pass through measure up at 73-74mm wide, so 75mm sounds right to me, leaving 0.5-1mm protruding each side from the seals to contact onto the engine mount, frame and preload nut jigger when it all gets compressed by the main swingarm bolt.
Matthew C. from Whites measured up an equivalent All Balls Racing kit (for the XT600E), which measured 16mm ID / 22mm OD / 73mm length. I'm not sure if the difference in length is down to the person measuring or the ABR part being slightly different.
I've used a lot of ABR stuff in the past, but have had a shocking run in recent years with their parts not lasting. The no-name bearings and seals in their kits may be a giveaway as to why. Also, given that ABR can't afford the time to answer customer queries, I'm going to make an order through YamBits. Service wins over price for me any day.
I will post an update once the parts arrive.
Cheers

Hi all,
The parts from YamBits have arrived today and it looks like we have a winner! The "1990-2002 XT600E (PN: SAK005)" swingarm rebuild kit contains the correct steel inner bushings, identified by a part number of "40-2277". I'm not sure if YamBits would be able to supply this part individually or not.
Now I just need to get a spare day or two to put the bike back together. It's been apart for a few months now, so hopefully I can remember where all the bits go!
Cheers!
