How about wrapping? That looks like its come on in recent years

I briefly thought about wrapping, especially for the side panels, but didnt look into it much. I havent been too impressed with the wrapping on my work van which gets a bit of a bashing around forest roads. Its either peeled off of its own accord or come of quite easily in the higher wear parts of the paint work, its only a year old. I wonder how well the wrap copes around the petrol filler cap area with lifting. Id be worried it would twist and tear around where you screw the sidepanel onto the bike over time as well.

Well, for those that may be interested in looking at yet another freshly painted blue Tenere, the paint route was taken, and I'm quite chuffed with the results.



Never had anything professionally painted before, worth the long wait as much as it was killing me.

Some clear 3m vinyl to try and stop my boot rubbing problem.





Never applied decals before, bit tricky persuading big stickers to go round funny shapes and all still line up with each other. Had an original sales brochure for reference, but the decal set I bought needed a bit of trimming as it wasnt quite the right size, despite claiming the be the best (and most expensive) on ebay...











I think it came out quite nicely for a first go, not perfect, there are a few mistakes here and there, but it is a working bike that sees the trails on a weekend, so will be scratched and scuffed before long.

P.S. I think I maybe the reason a certain person called Geoff hasnt got his paintwork back yet as I believe we used the same paint shop and I was ahead of him in the queue, but I think know whats coming on that one.
