Went for a test ride after fitting the new battery the engine cut out after 30 mins recovered by motorcycle SOS after jump starting out put 11.5v so new regulator/rectifier fitted out put with engine running 14v i will go for a test ride later.

Ok new regulator/rectifier and battery fitted the bike starts well BUT went out yesterday for a good ride around it was fine in traffic and on level roads upon choosing a long uphill bit of road, under sustained load it's misfiring and lacking power at one point stopped for fuel ten minutes later rode off bike was running normally for around ten minutes then it started again, i suspect the coil is breaking down under load what do you think?
