The answer......On the first picture: there are the letters/numbers "5Y100" and about 2 cm behind that is a "1" in the metal.
On the silver carrier (XV 250) there also the letters "5Y100" and about 2 cm behind that is a "2" in the metal.
These parts are made by pressure fed die casting.
When many parts have to be made, there will be more than one die cavity.
The die cavities will be numbered so that if a defect or problem later arises with the parts, the faulty die can be easily identified.
