Clutch cable length/model?

Hi mezo
My black box does have the two block conecters on it like that but does not say TCI on it, just some numbers and a small Denso sticker.
It don't seem to have a proper mounting point on the inner mud guard plastic either.
Will try and put some pics on tomorrow if I can work out how.

Sounds like you have a 1VJ converted to TCI then, unusual indeed.

The easy way to tell the two apart is TCI has sockets on the box & the CDI has wires coming out of it like this,,,,



This is a 1VJ CDI.

OK I think I got the hang of it now.
So I'm thinking the bikes got a 4PT engine in the original casings.
Would it be normal to change the whole wording harness with this mod ?.

Clive is having the same problems. When your looking at you pic on Photobucket, mouse over pic & right click your mouse & select "copy image url" then paste that info here, it should have .JPG at the end, if not it wont work with IMG.

I think we will get Geoff`s opinion on this one.

He changes the whole wiring loom when he does this conversion, the clutch lever is on the right so it says 4PT.

I'd like to see some photo's of your bike, looks to me like a XT600E made to look like a 1VJ...........

Looks like a 4PT with a 3AJ tank on & 1VJ sidepanels,,,,,,

It's not a 1VJ....... wrong frame, rear disc, etc, etc
