Clutch actuating arm removal 1VJ

I recently removed the clutch actuating arm from my 3aj in order to replace that seal as well and i needed to loosen the adjuster nut on the clutch basket in order to get the push rod that runs through the whole engine out of the way. I was also experiencing a lot of leaking oil, but it turned out my issue was unrelated to the seal. A part of the interior of the case had broken away long ago and the gap it left behind allowed oil to escape through the breather tube.

Hi there,
the electric start transmission has its own cover.
Under that there is an extra engine case bolt which is sometimes missed when reassembling e.g. after a change of cam chain.
Your oiling symptoms are typical for that.
