I have done that many times.

At the moment, I am really hitting the limits of the normal suspension and I would like just a bit more travel.

How hard do you ride?
It took a bit to use up all my upgraded suspenders.
Hope it's not to much effort?
Will be interesting to see if it easy or hard

I get what you are saying, but I really do use my 660 offroad a lot and I ride it quite hard.

I am using Wirth front springs with SAE15 oil (builder recommends 10). Works really well. At first I thought to change it back to 10, but now I wouldn't. It might be too reactive in slower, trickier parts, but the faster you ride, the better it works (offroad). At rally pace it's great.

Stock right. Wirth left.

On the rear it's another world with the Ohlins.

They are WP-forks, but I am not sure if they originate from a KTM.

KTM or Husaberg id guess? i had a set of WP`s (48mm) on my DR650 & wanted to do the same of one of my 34L`s (not the one im building now) cant afford it right now but something ill do on the second 34L build "the fast one" :nordie:
