Pick up coil

Post by 55W1985 »

Guys
As told on my resto thread I just let those electronic geeks rebuild my pick up coil!
Its unbelievable how good it starts now!
My diagnose was cold start OK.Warm riding still 1 Kick....but hot.......no way or to many kicks untill nothing more was to do!
So they rebuild it all.Now just thinking of starting the bike........one normal kick :fireball:
This is like our ageing. We believe we still look handsome and flexible, untill we see pictures taken from us 5 years ago, then you relize....
I think my pick up was stock from the bike.So 28 years of service is ok.
Let your pick up be checked(Just Dan.........that is your issue!)
If you know some company they do them new please post it here.
