valve clearance

How easy is it..

I need to adjust the clearance..
do I/ would I need the wsm?

Very easy Patrick, they recommend an angled valve feeler gauge to do it (that's what i used) but you could use a flat one if a friend has one, they are cheap.



You will think you have it spot on & then go to pinch up the locking nut & then find its made it to tight, you sort of have to allow for that when setting it,
leave it slightly to loose & when you pinch the locking nut it comes in to tolerance.

is 0.07 to 0.12 on admission
and from 0.12 to 0.17 in the exhaust

Yes if possible to the lowest figure, as close to the ideal gap as possible.
