Ignition live

Post by Twintens »

Greetings all,

I’m fitting a bus bar for accessories, I’ve located it in that little nook attached to the battery box, I want to pick up an ignition live somewhere around the battery box. I’ll be fitting heated grips as well as a few other things connecting to the bus bar so I need a better ignition live than the rear tail light one. Bike spends long periods in storage so don’t want to go straight to battery. Can anyone point one out to me.

Cheers, Rikki

Thanks Charlie,

I have the bus bar already, aware of the INNOV and others, what I’m after is an ignition live to connect it to so that when the ignition is off, there is no power to the bus bar. I thought there might be one near the battery box area

You will need a multimeter and a wiring diagram.
Then it's quite easy.
