Still trying to sort my barn find 1VJ. I wired it as per the workshop manual as i see it and i get a spark but it does not run correct. Not a carb or coil problem Can some one please confirm what colour wires go where. colours from stator ( 3 white ,red, brown ) trigger (black/yellow , blue yellow ,green/white ,blue neutral wire)
1VJ ecu (brown, red, black, white/red, white/green, green, orange, black/white, blue, blue/yellow) .I have a new stator correct for bike and a ecu that shown all the correct ohms when checked. thanks in advance

Three whites to reg/rec, (red out of reg/rec to batt/fuse).
Red and brown from pick up to cdi. White/orange wires etc also to cdi.

i will get a picture if it helps but all i am asking is what colour wires coming out of flywheel side connect to the wires in the ecu. Sorry if that is too confusing but there is no need for FFS.

sorry i thought you were having a go at me. I really appreciate the time you put in. As i said i can rebuild engines no problem but electrics are a black art and the manuals i have show several wiring diagrams. it would be so simple if the colours out of the flywheel side matched the ecu. cheers

No worries. 
As you can see, computers are my weakness.
Tried to upload the wiring diagram id coloured, but even with post image it was having none of it. Simplest is the three phase charging whites to get out of the way into the block of 4 with the battery red. I can look at the red and brown connector, and the other tomorrow.

I have been having fun over the last couple of weeks wiring a 1VJ. I have 2 1VJ CDI and they are different including the connectors and there wiring!
It didnt help that I made up a loom using 3 different harnesses when working out what to connect but got a working bike now.
In the end my very very weak spark was driven by a bad Stator.
What was the question? issue? Post a video of the bad running?
