I have recently rebuilt my engine and since converting my bike to a supermoto ive wanted to gain more power for road use only.
After my full rebuild i dont feel much difference in performance. Is there anything more i can do to the engine or have i maybe done something wrong.
I have bored the engine to 640cc/98mm piston and using a wossner piston with a compression ratio of 9.1:1.
Complete repair of topend with new valves and all. new bearings throughout the whole engine.
I have wider headers and turbokit muffler from https://www.motorsportgoetz.com
I also have a stage 1 camshaft from https://www.off-the-road.de/
Ive installed a jetkit from 6sigmaracing which included bigger jets all around
Main jet is now 165 if i remeber correctly.

I doubt you’ll get too much out of these engines.
How do you feel it behaves with the sporty cam? Have you lost much in the way of low grunt or mid range? Going to rebuild mine this winter and considering the upgrade.

Re: TT600E tuning
It does feel abit less grunty on the bottom end, it still pulls nicely. It revs up to 8k with no issues so top end has seen great improvement.
It made 43whp and 45nm before i rejetted the carbs. I had my bone stock xt600 2kf on the dyno at the same time which made 36whp and my xt550 ended up making 40whp on fully rebuilt engine, no tuning.
So if you are consindering doing the same stuff ive done, as of now it doesnt seem worth it. I still need to get the bike back on the dyno after the carb rejet.
Considering the money ive spent it doesnt seem well worth it.

Thanks. I suppose if you look at it as if it had to be rebuilt, it’s not as bad if it needs boring out anyway. May as well go big so to speak. It might just take a little bit of fettling jet sizes to get her to feel how you want. Let us know what she tests at. There could always be the later carbs with the throttle pump for quicker pick up.

Re: TT600E tuning
Yes exactly i decided to go all in since it had to be rebuilt for the second time. First time the oil pump gave out which caused the engine to die. Thats when i fully rebuilt the engine. Second time the shop i had do the cylinder work bored it out to small so it ended up eating the piston.
I am getting a different set of carbs soon. I cant decide if i should go with a single carb conversion kit or a dual setup.
This is the single kit ive been looking at.

I am most likely going with the single carb to make jetting easier but i dont know which is a better solution. Jets has been my main issue getting for the standard carb. That is the main reason why i am going with a different carb setup.
