Hi Everyone
Im in the process of building a bit of a Dakar homage bike from a kit of parts from this very manor, I wondered if anyone hasa complete bike within a reasonable distance of London that I could have a look at and take a few pics. I'm pretty confidant with the big bits! but its the run of the look and small bracketry I'd like to look at.
Cheers
Mark

Kev Thomas is an hour north of you (Northampton) whether he would let a stranger in his workshop is another matter? but he builds Dakak specials.

Hi Mezo
Many thanks for that, stunning bikes, for mine I had in mind something with a few trinkets, a retro paint job and graphics, rather than something you could actually do Dakar on!
That said, as I have a background in building rally cars I wouldn't say no to a workshop visit!!!!
Cheers

Like i said i doubt Kev would let anyone into his workshop, especially a stranger as you never know their true intentions.Jakeyt wrote: Mon Nov 15, 2021 9:31 pmThat said, as I have a background in building rally cars I wouldn't say no to a workshop visit!!!!

I’m still trying to get a look at a standard bike somewhere, if anyone would oblige I’d be grateful

Any takers on this, doesnt have to be that near London, if its this difficult to have a look at a standard bike I dont mind travelling a bit.....I might even stretch to a few beers in appreciation!
