Hello,
Does anyone have a
Yamaha TT 600 r Belgrada 5CH Crank case/ bottom end with bearings if possible. Mine has cracked. Its hard to tell from the pictures but there is a crack from the piston to the balance shaft.
Thanks and merry Christmas and a happy new year.

Wow - I would delve deeper into cause as you may be looking for a complete bottom end - also I only buy matched pairs of crank cases.

Have heard of this happening on a number of TTR's. possibly happens when the balance shaft keyway fails and balancer then hits crankshaft? Was the keyway still ok on balance shaft?

TTR crankcases are 4PT so prob easier to find a late XT600 motor or cases and swap original TTR lighter crank/ flywheel/ stator and transmission into that if original crankcase not repairable.

I was thinking the same thing, for starters (pun intended) the TTR is a kick start motor & the clutch arm is on the left not the right like the 4PT.

Yeah all the 4PT cases had the hole in the LHS crankcase half for the clutch actuating shaft but a removable plug installed in that hole in the later series 2 4PT's. The clutch actuating arm on the 4PT2 was installed in the RHS crankcase cover and not in the crankcase itself, so the 4PT crankcases are adaptable for different models.
