Yes, he is doing the top of the piston, that's already on the cards. He also offers a service where he does the internal barrel, rods etc.
See I knew that powder coating caused heat issues, which is why I was looking at alternatives when I came across Cerakote. (I did not want to paint due to the longevity)
The bloke doing the work has done several motocross bikes and enduro bikes and none have any issues with overheating that I have heard about. Ill most likely be leaving the barrel bare metal from the start as I prefer the look.
