Well I got them separated.....

But.... these bolts are bloody causing me some grief... talk about seized...

ImageImage

This engine mounting bolt is ridiculous, the bolt is about 18 inches long & it passes through alloy brackets on the engine...

Image

Tried heat, air gun... hammers.... hmmm.. it WILL come out

Both the rims are, umm .... past their best.... smile:

I wonder how strong that frames going to be Geoff, looking at these pics im guessing it will be rotten inside?

Ive never seen a rim like that before, has it been sitting in a river?

Now there's a challenge! You should put a wager on it, it will give you more incentive to succeed.

I was worried about the frame to Mez, but it seems to be ok, just surface rust.... I am gonna have it thoroughly sand blasted before its coated so I can make sure...

I dunno where this bike has been to be honest, the bloke I bought it off had bought it to use as a spares bike, it was actually in his garage when I picked it up, but god knows where it had been before that, cos he's had it for 4 of 5 years...

So I stopped worrying and lo and behold, things did get worse!
