Hey Dino..yer been searching ebay but the language barrier has me struggling . My mate is chasing one for his 34l as well. I see another ol bmw tank in the background of your photo. I own one the same. Looks like we have a similar disease.

Re: 3AJ centre stand
I got back into bikes a couple of years ago. I have always liked the old school air cooled desert bikes. I’m getting the Ténéré ready for the Scrapheap challenge in the next three weeks. It should be fun 1200km to Pooncarie nearly all dirt. The bike has been sitting in a shed for over 12 years near Gunnedah, so it needs a service! I restored the GS and have done some big rides with it. I need to work out which bike is the blonde or brunette.

Scrapheap sounds like a great ride. Hoping to do it next year maybe on an XL600. The PD would have to be the big buxom blonde

Re: 3AJ centre stand
Have you guys put the mounting point on the outside of the right side steps? Or between the frame and the foodstep?

it's in between the frame and the footsteps in my case.Bowler wrote: Tue Nov 24, 2020 5:34 pm Have you guys put the mounting point on the outside of the right side steps? Or between the frame and the foodstep?
