Interesting your making your own. I'm sure you'll let us know how it turns out, you are in the high country already...

$2.75 each eh? Well at that price I may be interested depending on the holes you are planning on drilling them to. Are you planning on any increment jet diameter? or are you planning on just using standard drill bits?ActionManMelb wrote:I just saw this on Ebay...

$70 for one!!![]()
If I can get any interest I may still get some made as per my earlier post. ($2.75 each) Please let me know.

I too would be interested in some jets too if you can make them accurate.manco wrote:$2.75 each eh? Well at that price I may be interested depending on the holes you are planning on drilling them to. Here is the deal. I have a full set of jets right now. I have 48 & 50 OEM pilot jets, a couple pilots to custom drill, 120 to 140 OEM primary main jets, 125, 130 & 135 secondary main jets plus two more 135 secondary mains to custom drill. Now for custom drilling I have all the standard drill bits available in and around all of the sizes of all the OEM jets I have listed. I have a complete set of drill bits #80 0.3429mm through #53 1.5113mm. Since the bits are standard wire gauge they have a queer arrangement of sizes. If you look at this chart on Wikipedia it shows that only various sizes are available but not perfect .05mm increments. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_dr ... _tap_sizes
Now, when I want a custom size jet I can use solder and drill bits to make any size of jet orifice from what is available in wire gauge bits. If these standard wire gauge drill bits are what you are planning to drill your custom jets with then I am probably gonna pass on the jet offer. I have plenty of jets to tune with drill bits already.
If on the other hand you intend to machine jets with any jet orifice size then I may be interested in your jets. For example: If you can machine a secondary main jet set that clones the OEM internal shape and is available in 1.00mm to 1.50mm orifice diameter in perfect increments of .10mm then I may be interested in a 6 piece set. 1.00mm, 1.10mm, 1.20mm, 1.30mm, 1.40mm, 1.50mm would be the jets orifice sizes I may be interested in.
