I'm totally new to the Tenere world (so to speak). I've had loads of bikes, the last being a Triumph Tiger 955i.
A dear friend of mine sadly died a couple of months ago and his wife asked me if I'd like to buy his Tenere (which I didn't even know he had). I had a quick look at it this weekend and I really fancy it. I've been reading the forums etc. over the last couple of days but I'm still not even sure what model it is, let alone what it's worth.
I believe it's an import that was registered in 1988. It's a little bit tatty round the edges but overall pretty good. It recently sailed through an MOT.
Anyway, if anyone could give me any info. and indeed an idea of the value as I really don't know what to pay. I'm guessing around £800.
