Just sounds as if you have the float the wrong way round unless the float needle is lodged closed stopping fuel entering the card, i think its the idle jet thats blockedkevingrahambutler wrote:Thanks Tommy, just as it happens tommy I took the bottom of the carb off today removed the pin and float to clean inside then I took the long pin where the niddle passes though it it was part blocked so cleaned that and put it back together,
Now It will not start, I took it apart to check all that I have done, it all looks ok, tried to start it fired once briefly I can't get it started, have I missed something should I strip the top of the carb as well, any help would be much appreciated,

and you will need a long thin screwdriver to remove it, not unless you can pass some fine wire through it, i do have an ultra sonic bath if you want me to have a look
at your carb and drop it in the bath for an hour.
